Zeal Welly knocks Festival 103 out of the park

Zeal Wellington had one of its favourite events this year! Festival 103 held at the Zeal venue on Ghuznee St featured some of the finest young artists including bands, DJ’s, acoustic and hip-hop artists, and all under the ripe old age of 20!

The night started off with a bang with Zams Music, a hip-hop crew from the Wairarapa fronted by Zaman Lewis. Elliot Harris, Solomon Crook and Liv all serenaded us with their acoustic solo magic in between each of the acts on the performance stage.

Melodies of the Disturbed, a young group from Horowhenua College in Levin, brought some heavy tunes to give the night a bit of a kick, followed by a trio from Wellington High, Mishap, who released their EP at the event.

The Auckland based headlining act JessB and her DJ (Hazei) travelled for the festival and boy are we glad they made the trip down. Together they blew us all out of the water with an energetic performance. Definitely an artist to keep an eye on.

As the night ramped up, DJ Duo, FANG$, from Masterton, took to the stage and brought the house down with an explosive set.
Overall Festival 103 was an EPIC success, filled with a range of talented artists who pulled off an incredible show. Keen to jump on the next event?! Stay tuned to our Facebook Page for the next event to drop in Welly.
