The Post Rock Quest Bash was a showdown between Hutt Valley’s best young bands and a chance for the audience to get exposure to some incredible Hutt talent.
The event involved the placing bands from Rockquest regionals, a drum off, shred off, and a percussion off. High school students from the Hutt region came to enjoy 4 great bands, get involved on stage, win some cool prizes and decide the ultimate all-star band of the night.
The events have been organised and run by 6 young men form the Hutt who have a passion to see the band scene come alive again in Wellington. These young men have done an amazing job from planning to executing on the nights.
They have continued to plan upcoming events, with the next one called Hutt Talent Quest. To see our young men go through months of learning and planning to where they are now confident enough to run their own events is a testament to the work we do at Zeal.
