Thanks to The Trusts, Zeal West has received over $40,000 to go toward Zeal West venue costs and wages for our amazing youth workers.
As part of the Million Dollar Mission, The Trusts supports the West Auckland community by redistributing profits from their retail and hospitality venues in the city. Last year, we successfully raised $50,000 toward our Street Youth Work project.
This year, the Zeal crew all over New Zealand went live on Facebook over a few weeks to gather votes – by eating hot chicken, making up songs on the spot, attempting to draw, and attempting to play Xbox.
Every vote we received in the Million Dollar Mission meant $5 was donated to us – and we ended up receiving over 8,000 votes from all of or supporters, bringing our total to $41,380.
