Activities for rangatahi (young people) in New Plymouth at Zeal
Zeal Taranaki is a dedicated youth centre in the heart of New Plymouth, located in the Mayfair building. We have a dedicated dance/rehearsal space, and a chilled out cafe area. Here’s what we’ve got on offer!
Hangs
On Tuesday – Friday, 3.30-5.30pm, we run free afternoon hangs for young people. We provide a chilled out, safe environment with Xbox, food and Wi-Fi, and our youth workers are trained to provide additional care if needed.
Kaitiaki Community Cares
Our dedicated team of remarkable young people are eager to lend a helping hand, by offering free services such as lawn maintenance, hedge trimming, yard cleaning, and general section upkeep. Running from Tuesday – Thursday 9am – 3 pm in New Plymouth & Stratford.
