Have you ever dreamt of running the largest music festivals in the world?! Or maybe you’ve thought how cool it would be to put on a HUGE event at your school or in your neighbourhood? Maybe you are a senior student and helping to organise your School Ball or the Talent Quest?

Well, we want to help you live your dream!

Across the month of July, Zeal are hosting Event Bootcamps across the country with opportunities for you to rub shoulders amongst the best in the business.

The Zeal Event Bootcamp is a one day intensive events workshop connecting young people into the events industry, and teaches basic frameworks that will help you run your most successful event yet! Some would even say, the best in the world!

Details of the day

Across the day we’ll be diving into a variety of electives that will equip you the tools and knowledge to take your events to the next level. These electives include;

Session 1: Creating a vision

This session seeks to provide a solid foundation for the rest of the day. We want to unpack the desired purpose and outcomes for an event, while at the same time holding on to the overall vision and dream. Other topics will include: target audience, competition from other events and how to create a point of difference.

Session 2: Creating the event plan

This session seeks to cover the vital elements to making any event successful. We look at the basics of how to setup your team, budget, timeline and explore why these things are important and how to use them throughout your event.

Session 3: Building the operations plan

This session is all about how the event will come together on the day. It will cover topics such as: general operations, production and technical requirements, pack in/out schedules and health and safety.

Session 4: Creating a programme and artist management

In this session, we will look at the content of the event and how to create an engaging programme that flows. Topics will include: making a memorable first and last impression, overall design and the importance of communicating the programme to all those involved.

Session 5: Creating a marketing and sponsorship plan

This session is all about how to capture and connect with your audience when there could potentially be other events vying for their attention. We look at marketing tips and the best ways to reach your audience and how to attract sponsors and investors to minimise financial risk.

Session 6: Putting it all together.

The final session is about pulling the whole thing together. In this session, our speakers share their personal experiences in running events, with their critical eye on the good vs bad, whilst also passing on tips to wrap up our event strong.

We have got some of the best experts in the industry to come and talk to you about how to make your event a success, whilst sharing some crack-up stories that happened along the way, with a few cool suprises along the way.

Oh… and it’s free to come, with FREE LUNCH!

With limited places available at each region, make sure you register for FREE today!
