Annual REVOLUTION tour hits 28 NZ high schools in two weeks

Thanks to the help of Auckland Council Local Board funding, the annual REVOLUTION TOUR has wrapped up for the West Auckland crew, with Zeal and Freshmans Dance Crew coming together to bring our message of hope to New Zealand high schools.

In just two short weeks, the tour hit 28 schools around the Auckland region, and finished off in the Hawkes Bay.

The REVOLUTION tour has been running in New Zealand for the past few years, with the purpose of teaching Kiwi youth about life skills, perseverance and holding on to hope.

Thank you to Auckland Council Local Boards Albert-Eden, Devonport-Takapuna, Manurewa, and Otara-Papatoetoe for your support.

Back at the West Auckland venue, we have some new gear to revitalize after school hangs. New furniture, a new basketball hoop and some new cafe gear has our spot looking tight – thanks to the Million Dollar Mission for hooking us up!

“I have been in this field of work for over 12 years now. I have seen a lot of people come and go, and go, and go and go. The best youth workers have a firm understanding of why they do what they do, so understand your WHY, and keep a hold of that.”

This year, the Zeal crew all over New Zealand went live on Facebook over a few weeks to gather votes – by eating hot chicken, making up songs on the spot, attempting to draw, and attempting to play Xbox.
