My Weekend documentary editing begins

Over the last two months ten young people across New Zealand – from
Dunedin to Northland – have spent three weekends each filming their
lives using smartphones.

What do they do with their time? Who do they
hang out with? How do they feel about their family, their school and
their society?

We’ve witnessed it all and now have 250 hours of footage
(which takes up heaps of hard drive space) to sort through and then turn into
a feature length doco.

Thankfully, we have the stellar Matt Smith (editor) and Brooke Benton (director) on hand, as well as a talented band of
budding film producers helping out.

Watch this space for a completed My
Weekend doco in 2016!
