Youth voices and vibes at Zeal West this June

On the 8th til the 10th of June, we took five young people and two volunteers with us to Youth Voice Camp, focused on unleashing your inner leader.
Overall, there were 22 young people who came and they had an awesome time doing leadership workshops – and even gave archery a go!
The Youth Voice camp was a collaboration with Zeal, Ranui 135, Massey Matters, MPHS and Glendene. Our youth worker Liga and two volunteers Belinda and Keisha did an awesome job in the kitchen as well.
We also hosted Vibe Youth Festival: a day to celebrate our awesome West Auckland young people on June 30th.

There were performances, different workshops, and food stalls – it was mean! Some of our young people from Versus Talent Quest performed. The Zeal West crew ran a info station and set up a TV to have a Tekken tournament.
