Stuff you should know

Can food be consumed at the venue?

Yes, you can bring your own kai. We also have a kitchen and a cafe onsite. Let us know if you would like us to keep the cafe open during your event. Extra costs may apply. (All of the profits from the cafe go to supporting our youth programmes.)

Are there any venue noise restrictions?

No, make as much noise as you want! We are in a commercial area so there is no residential sound restriction. However, events must be finished before midnight. Pack down may commence after midnight.

Is there sound and lighting equipment available?

Yes, we have onsite sound and lighting equipment that can be utilised for your event. Let us know If you require a lighting or sound technician by filling out the booking form. Have a look at our equipment list.

Is there parking available at the venue?

We have two free parking spaces available, which give easy access to the back entrance. Loading bay is also available.

Do you have security at the venue?

You will need to provide your own security. 1x per 100 attendees.

Do you provide a cleaning service?

Yes. We clean the venue after your event (at an additional cost).

Is there a bond fee?

Yes, all hires pay a $200 deposit that is not refundable if the hirer cancels.

What is the difference between community and corporate rates?

We offer discounted prices for community events and small community organisations that serve our community. If you are unsure which category you fall into, just email us.

Do you allow alcohol at the venue?

Alcohol may be consumed on site however a special license must be organised by the hire with the NP District Council, please allow 14 days before booking as we will require to see it.
