As many will be aware, Aotearoa is back to alert level 2, with Auckland at alert level 3. Based on this, this is what we are doing to continue to provide care and support for young people at this time.
Zeal West at Level 3
Our Zeal West (Auckland) space will be closed in line with government directive until further notice. Our Zeal West staff will still be connecting with young people online and we are partnering with local essential services to support the local work in West Auckland of helping young people and their families in need.
Our other Zeal spaces at Level 2
Our other Zeal spaces in Hamilton, New Plymouth, Kapiti and Wellington will remain open under level 2 with recommended health and safety measures from government in place. This includes contact tracing, enforcing social distancing and increased hygiene measures in our spaces with regular space spot and deep cleaning.
We are keeping closely connected to government updates on how we can best keep young people, our communities and our staff safe at this time. In amongst this, our commitment to young people in this trying time remains the same.
We will continue to serve young people and our communities in the best, safest way we can.
