Kāpiti comes alive with Zeal workshops, live music and events

October was a packed month for the Kāpiti crew, with the Music Box currently parked up at Kāpiti College, hosting lunchtime shows on Fridays with young bands.

On October 21st, Zeal Kāpiti supported the Waikanae Spring Festival, with a Zeal stage showcasing the best young musicians in Kāpiti.

The Kāpiti crew also helped out with the finals of the annual Bright Lights Music competition, partnering with House of Sound to run this years competition. Young people were given the chance to perform in front of their friends and family to compete for some amazing prizes from The Family Music Store

On October 15th, the Kāpiti staff and young volunteers battled the weather on the day of their Summer Jump event, leaving the Maclean Park space for Paraparaumu College Hall. The amazing team pulled everything together with games, live music, food, and local legends Archie The Brave closing out the celebrations.
