Hawke’s Bay Career Expo
Last year we surveyed 500 young people, and a large number asked to learn skills such as CV writing, buying their first home, budgeting and interviewing. So this year, we’ve decided to run YouthX – a “TED Talk” inspired, motivational event at the Careers Expo.

Supported by NZ Music Month, thriving up and coming artist Sonatane Kaufusi will be performing his first ever headlining show – along side some of Hamilton’s young acoustic singer/songwriters. Sonatane Kaufusi’s debut single, BIRDIE, is NZ’s Number 1 Viral Track on the Spotify NZ Viral 50.

Then at 5:30pm, we will kick off with a Quiz Night with some amazing prizes up for grabs.
Head down to the Taiaroa St Basketball Court in Strathmore for some 3 on 3 basketball – you can join in or watch the fun!
We will have an epic sausage sizzle, music and giveaways alongside the Strathmore Community Centre & Eastern Southern Youth Trust.
