Rangatahi shine on and off the stage at Zeal Wellington open mic night

In August, we hosted an incredible Open Mic Night at our new(ish) Zeal Wellington venue, full of talent from our young people both on and off the stage.
We had such an incredible night of entertainment by Wellington’s young performers. We had first time performers, some that have had a go, and some epic seasoned young people woo us with their incredible voices and skills.

The night featured some acoustic solo and duo acts, a couple of bands, spoken word and rap artists.

The production, sound & lighting was all organised by the young people in the Wellington Live Sound Gateway Programme, and they absolutely killed it!

What a perfect way to end the winter season. We want to thank Wellington City Council and Creative Communities for helping make this a reality!
